Essential Services

The Dearborn Public Health Department will work to ensure it provides the following essential services to this community:

  • Research, assess, and analyze the health needs of Dearborn residents

  • Build a Public Health Department that has the capacity to monitor health status to identify and solve community health problems.

  • Inform, educate, and empower Dearborn residents about health concerns.

  • Mobilize community partnerships to identify and solve pressing health issues.

  • Develop programs, plans, policies, and procedures that support individuals, their families, and community health efforts.
